Master classes with participation of European cinema specialists will be organized for Kyrgyz filmmakers as part of the European Film Festival, which will be held in Kyrgyzstan from March 22 to March 28. The European Union Delegation to the Kyrgyz Republic reports.
On the first day of the training, Domenico La Porta, the Belgian screenwriter, will tell about the main principles of successful storytelling, which will keep the viewer in suspense until the very end. He will teach how to create a product for a large audience and «hook them on» with your story, while preserving an original and individual approach when embodying an idea.
«At the next stage of the training, participants will receive answers to the questions why genres are needed and how to use them correctly in order to present a story in the most favorable light. We will take a look at practical techniques for creating real-life characters that the audience will empathize with throughout the course of events. Next, we will explore a universal method of breaking down the story into 45 segments that are present in every successful film or series,» the EU Delegation said.
