Kyrgyzstan intends to cooperate with South Korea on Taza Suu project

Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Korea Dinara Kemelova met with a delegation of the Korean Water Resources Corporation K-Water headed by the Vice President Lee Jong Jin. The diplomatic mission reports.

Dinara Kemelova expressed Kyrgyzstan’s interest in cooperation in the field of hydropower, water supply, in particular within the framework of Taza Suu program, irrigation and other areas. In turn, Lee Jong Jin said that the Korean Water Resources Corporation was studying the potential of the Kyrgyz Republic and priority areas for implementation of projects in the aforementioned areas.

«They discussed the possibility of implementation of Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP) grant project, which will allow to develop a roadmap to increase the potential of water supply services in rural areas, as well as K-City project — a Smart City planning program,» the statement says.
