«Formation of a reserve of medical workers and their training is one of the most important issues for the healthcare system,» the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Kubatbek Boronov, said today at a meeting of the Republican Emergency Response Center.
He stressed the need for a high-quality and timely implementation of the Security Council decision, one of the points of which is the issue of preparing a reserve of medical specialists.
«Today, the health care system is experiencing a certain load due to a sharp increase in the number of patients with coronavirus in Bishkek. Medical workers work around the clock. In addition, the number of infected healthcare workers has increased in recent days. This influenced the work of the healthcare system,» said the head of the government.
The task was set to prepare medical workers from among the employees of medical educational institutions and from among students in internships and residencies of medical institutions in a short time.
«Our healthcare system should be ready for a possible increase in the number of cases in the autumn-winter period. It is extremely important to prepare a reserve of medical personnel in all areas,» the Prime Minister said.
