A young pregnant COVID-19 patient was discharged from hospital in Ala-Buka district of Jalal-Adad region. She has fully recovered. Press center of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan said.
The woman underwent treatment, being in the fifth month of pregnancy. According to the patient, this is her third pregnancy. It goes without complications against the background of coronavirus treatment.
The Ministry of Health added that the woman was among the first patients in Ala-Buka district, who tested positive for coronavirus.
«As soon as the diagnosis was confirmed, the doctors immediately took me to the hospital. The disease was asymptomatic, I had no fever. It was a complete surprise. At first I was shocked, I was afraid for my baby. But the doctors assured that everything would be good. They examined me daily, asked about my state of health. They gave me antiviral drugs a couple of times. We are very grateful to our doctors for their support and care,» the patient said.
The girl was discharged home after 14 days of treatment in the hospital with negative PCR test. She is currently in home quarantine.
