Children present Sooronbai Jeenbekov with robot at New Year’s party

President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov took part in the presidential New Year’s party for children. Press service of the head of state reported.

Addressing children, the president stressed that only educated people would be able to develop the country and include it in the number of advanced ones. «Development of the country is closely connected with modern technologies. Therefore, great efforts are being made to provide all schools with the Internet, computer classes and multimedia equipment,» Sooronbai Jeenbekov noted.

The President stressed that by their victories at international Olympiads, competitions and contests, children bring great joy to their parents, relatives and teachers, make the country famous on the world stage.

«Looking at you, we can confidently say that our country will have a good future. May you have a lot of joy and good friends in the New Year. I wish everything worked out in your life and you further delighted your loving parents, teachers and relatives. For our part, we will do our best for you to have a happy childhood and a successful adult life,» the head of state said.

President Sooronbai Jeenbekov presented the children with New Year gifts. In response, the children presented him with a robot.

At least 1,100 school-age children from all regions of the country came to the New Year’s party for children — excellent students, winners of international competitions, Olympiads and tournaments, children from orphanages, and children with disabilities.
