State Veterinary Inspectorate of Kyrgyzstan receives cars and equipment

The State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Safety of Kyrgyzstan was handed over 54 Renault Duster vehicles. The ceremony of transfer of the new material and technical base took place on the Old Square near the Government House in Bishkek with participation of the Prime Minister Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev.

Within the framework of the project on providing access to markets, the veterinary service was provided with technical support in the form of cars, which cost about 1.2 million soms each. In addition, 40 sets of computer equipment were provided for 40 districts of the country. It will serve to identification of livestock, entry of their data into an electronic database.

The cars will be handed over to all district administrations of Kyrgyzstan, two laboratories in Bishkek and Osh, and to the central office of the State Inspectorate.

The head of the Cabinet hopes that this equipment would help in the development of the agricultural industry.

«I believe that these cars will help our State Inspectorate in their work. And I want to say: it is forbidden to use them for personal purposes,» Mukhammedkaliy Abylgaziev added.
