New complex of buildings of Kyrgyzstan’s Embassy opened in Saudi Arabia

As part of an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov visited a new complex of buildings of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan on the occasion of its opening in Riyadh city. Press service of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Governor of Riyadh, Prince Faisal Bin Bandar al Saud, members of the official delegation of Kyrgyzstan, representatives of the diplomatic corps, and compatriots living in Saudi Arabia.

At the opening, the national anthem was performed, the state flag of the Kyrgyz Republic was solemnly hoisted.

The President noted that this Embassy has been not only a connecting bridge between the two countries, but also a testament to a strong partnership.

«According to historical sources, ancient Arab travelers left notes about the Kyrgyz people and their lands a thousand years ago. This indicates that the connection between the two peoples has existed since ancient times,» Sooronbai Jeenbekov stressed.

He expressed confidence that his official visit to Saudi Arabia would contribute to strengthening ties between the countries and serve as an impetus for their development.

Sooronbai Jeenbekov also met with compatriots living in Saudi Arabia.

The President wished them success, achievement of goals and good health. He expressed confidence that the accumulated experience and knowledge would be useful to them to contribute to the development of the country.

The compatriots asked questions about the country’s external debt, tourism, education, visa procedures facilitation and etc.
