Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev signed a government decree on transfer of days-off for rational use of weekends and non-working holidays by employees in 2020. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to the draft decree, for employees of state and municipal organizations, institutions and enterprises financed from the state budget, working according to a five-day workweek schedule, days-off on February 24, March 9 (recognized as days-off since holidays fall on weekends) are transferred to working days on January 2-3, and March 23 — to January 6.
The day-off on May 11 (recognized as a day-off since May 9 falls on weekend) is transferred to the working day on May 4.
Thus, citizens of the republic will rest on January 1 −7, and in May — from the 1st to the 5th.
