Dzhanybek Bakchiev, deputy of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan from Bir Bol faction, was summoned for questioning by the State Committee for National Security today. His lawyer confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency. However, he added that there would be no comments until the end of the procedure.
According to preliminary data, the State Committee for National Security repeatedly began checking the activities of Dzhanybek Bakchiev when he was a head of the State Registration Service.
Dzhanybek Bakchiev resigned from the post of Chairman of the SRS in December 2011, that is, eight years ago.
Recall, he explained his decision to by the fact that the party that recommended him for appointment did not enter the new majority coalition. Bakchiev outlined his position in a statement addressed to the then Prime Minister Omurbek Babanov.
«Being guided primarily by moral and ethical standards, I consider it incorrect to continue my work as Chairman of the SRS under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic,» Dzhanybek Bakchiev stressed.
