«Earlier, the applicant fully paid for the treatment, compensated material and moral damage to the victim, who then wrote a counter statement. However, officers of the Central Internal Affairs Department continued to blackmail the applicant by sending the case to court, demanded money and did not return him his car that was previously placed on impoundment lot,» the state service said.
The fact was registered in the Single Register of Crimes and Misconducts under Article 326 (extortion of a bribe) of the Criminal Code. The head of the Investigation Service was detained last week. During a search, 30,000 soms were found in his diary, which were handed over earlier by the driver.
