National hockey team of Kyrgyzstan lost to the team of Israel at the second qualification round for the 2022 Olympic Games on December 15.
It was the match of the final round in Group K. Kyrgyzstanis had an advantage of two goals for a long time, but did not keep it. At the end of the third period, the Israelis scored twice and evened the score, and got a victory — 5: 4 — in overtime. Members of the national team of Kyrgyzstan Vladimir Nosov (8th and 20th minutes), Ersultan Mirbekov (9th minute) and Artem Gorobets (39th minute) scored goals during the match.
The competitions were held in Romania. Previously, Kyrgyz hockey players lost to Iceland (4: 9) and Romania (2:18). The team of Kyrgyzstan dropped out of the completion for a berth to the Olympics.
