Everyone who is mentioned in a journalistic investigation about transfer of millions of dollars from Kyrgyzstan will be questioned. The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.
As noted, an interdepartmental investigative group conducts pre-trial proceedings registered by the Prosecutor General’s Office under Articles 39 and 130 «Attempted Murder» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic based on materials of the journalistic investigation.
«In order to ensure a comprehensive and objective investigation in the framework of pre-trial proceedings, all the persons, who are mentioned in the journalistic investigation and have any information relevant to the criminal case under investigation, will be called for questioning,» the statement said.
All copies of the materials of the journalistic investigation at the disposal of Azattyk have been handed over to the national security organs and attached to the materials of the pre-trial proceedings.
«Media representatives will be invited for interrogation as witnesses, as well as former officers of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic Aibek Kamchybekov and Marlis Osmonbekov, who had worked at the Manas Airport checkpoint in 2018,» the State Committee for National Security said.
The state committee stresses that journalists and their relatives are guaranteed personal security for the period of their stay in the Kyrgyz Republic.
