Head of Adilet Legal Clinic Cholpon Dzhakupova posted on Facebook that the organization was ready to help the participants of #Reaction rally if they have legal problems.
«Information appeared on social media that the rally participants were kept track, detained. If such facts occur, then we are ready to provide legal assistance. The rally was absolutely peaceful, there were no provocations,» Cholpon Dzhakupova commented on the initiative to 24.kg news agency.
Recall, a peaceful rally was held in Bishkek on November 25, organized by active Bishkek residents and users of social media. The protesters demanded from the authorities to take decisive action in the fight against corruption.
The reason for the rally was silence of the president, government, deputies and heads of law enforcement agencies on the facts voiced in the journalistic investigation by Kloop, Azattyk and OCCRP about corruption schemes at the Customs. Bishkek residents demand to prosecute all those involved in the illegal transfer of money from the country.
