An interdepartmental commission was established to study the facts voiced in a journalistic investigation by Azattyk, Kloop and OCCRP. The Secretary of the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan Damir Sagynbaev announced at a press conference.
According to him, the interdepartmental commission includes representatives of the State Service for Combatting Economic Crimes, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Financial Intelligence and the State Committee for National Security.
"They will conduct work on all the facts voiced in the investigation, and I think that all the persons mentioned in the material will be invited,” said Damir Sagynbaev.
The Secretary of the Council also told that work was already underway on the statement of Aierken Saimaiti about an attempt on his life in Kyrgyzstan. It was registered.
"Aierken Saimaiti illegally obtained a passport in 2014. He is not a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic,” added Damir Sagynbaev.
He noted that all materials with media investigations have always been under the control of the Security Council.
