An interdepartmental investigation team will investigate a criminal case based on a material of Azattyk, Kloop and OCCRP. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.
It is specified that the journalistic investigation became the basis for initiation of criminal proceedings under the Article "Attempted murder.”
"On November 24, organization of the pre-trial proceedings was entrusted to the State Investigation Committee of the SCNS, and an interdepartmental investigation group was created from among the investigators of the SCNS, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Service for Combatting Economic Crimes on the same day. The necessary investigative actions have been started aimed at establishing all the circumstances relevant to the case. In order to conduct a comprehensive and objective investigation, the necessary investigative actions will be carried out with participation of all persons who have any information on this fact and mentioned in the material by Azattyk, OSSRP and Kloop,” the SCNS said.
