Kyrgyzstani becomes champion of Belarus in swimming

Kyrgyzstani Elizaveta Rogozhnikova took the 1st place at the Open Swimming Championship in Belarus. Swimming Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

On the final day of the competition, Elizaveta won gold medal at a distance of 200 meters backstroke. Previously, she won a bronze medal at a distance of 400 meters complex swimming at this tournament.

Two more Kyrgyzstanis performed successfully within the tournament. Denis Petrashov won two silver (100 and 200 meters breaststroke) and a bronze (50 meters breaststroke) medals. Cyril Weiss won a silver (50 meters breaststroke) and a bronze (100 meters breaststroke) medals.

The tournament was held on April 17-20 in Brest city with participation of athletes from seven countries. One of their goals was to prepare for the upcoming World Championship.
