Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek considered pre-trial restriction for defendants in the criminal case on violations during the tender for the purchase of biometric passports.
By the decision of the court, three officials of the State Registration Service and Infocom state enterprise will be placed in the pre-trial detention center of the State Committee for National Security until June 15 — this is the period of the investigation.
The ruling was made by a judge Adylbek Subankulov.
Defendants in the case are the Director of the state-owned company Infocom Talant Abdullayev, the State Secretary Daniyar Bakchiev and the Deputy Chairman of the State Registration Service Ruslanbek Sarybaev. The latter headed the tender commission for purchase of forms for biometric passports.
The Anti-Corruption Service of the State Committee for National Security conducts investigative measures in the framework of a criminal case on violation of the tender conditions for the purchase of forms for biometric passports.
