It is offered to pay citizens who have reported about an impending terrorist attack. The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan submitted such draft resolution for discussion.
The document provides for the possibility of seeking the help of citizens in obtaining information of interest by posting announcements about a reward on the official website of SCNS and the media.
«Attraction of citizens to assistance in providing information to security authorities about persons related to terrorist activities, about prepared terrorist attacks is one of the effective tools for countering terrorism,» the draft resolution says.
The amount of monetary reward in each specific case will be determined by the head of the national security agencies or his deputies, taking into account the degree of participation of a person who rendered assistance and the obtained significant results in the fight against terrorism.
