Rally in support of the ex-head of the National Security Service (now the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan) Murat Sutalinov was held in front of the Bishkek City Court.
About 50 people came to support the former head of the special services.
Earlier, the judicial board, chaired by Adis Momunaliev, postponed consideration on the merits, citing the fact that they should interrogate the Chairman of the Commission of the Ministry of Health and consider the issue of Murat Sutalinov’s parole. This interrogation will take place today if the official of the Ministry of Health comes to court.
According to the verdict of the Supreme Court in a criminal case on April 7, 2010 events, Murat Sutalinov was sentenced to 25 years in prison with confiscation of property.
He is being kept in prison colony 47. Being in custody, he was diagnosed with kidney cancer in the terminal stage. Every two weeks, Murat Sutalinov is taken for chemotherapy to the National Oncology Center.
