President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov arrived with a two-day official visit to Germany today. Presidential press service reported.
The first day of the visit, April 15, is devoted to the economic issues. In particular, the head of state will take part in the Kyrgyz-German economic forum, speak at Hanns Seidel Foundation, and visit an agricultural enterprise.
In Munich, Sooronbai Jeenbekov will meet with the Head of the State Chancellery of Bavaria, the State Minister of Bavaria for Federal and European Affairs and Media Issues Florian Hermann, with the State Minister of Economy, Development and Energy, the Deputy Prime Minister of Bavaria Hubert Aiwanger.
The head of state will also meet with Kyrgyzstanis who work and study in Germany.
On April 16, the President Sooronbai Jeenbekov is scheduled to meet in Berlin with the Federal President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier and the Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, as well as with the President of the Bundestag Wolfgang Schäuble.
Sooronbai Jeenbekov and Angela Merkel will make a statement to the press.
Following the official visit of the President Sooronbai Jeenbekov to Germany, it is planned to sign a package of bilateral documents aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of diplomatic relations, economics and industry, agriculture and the agro-industrial complex, education, development of tourism, trade and economic relations, in the financial sphere.
