President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov will pay an official visit to Germany on April 15-16. Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Daniyar Sydykov told journalists.
According to him, Sooronbai Jeenbekov will arrive in Munich on April 15, where he will meet with the leadership of Bavaria and take part in the first business forum.
«We expect specific negotiations in such areas as hydropower, renewable energy sources, culture, agriculture, tourism. A necessary basis for the development and strengthening of trade and economic impulses was created between Kyrgyzstan and Germany,» Daniyar Sydykov told.
He added that Sooronbai Jeenbekov will travel to Berlin on April 16, where he will hold major political meetings with the Chancellor Angela Merkel, the President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and the President of Bundestag Norbert Lammert.
«Germany respects and values Kyrgyzstan as a democratic country in Central Asia,» said Daniyar Sydykov.
