President of Kyrgyzstan promised teachers and doctors a salary increase. Sooronbai Jeenbekov said this today at a meeting of the Parliament.
According to him, to ensure the renewal of education and health care spheres, it is necessary to strengthen social position of citizens.
«The salary of physicians has not been increased since 2011. We increased it last year. And this year it is planned to increase the size of their salaries,» Sooronbai Jeenbekov stressed.
He added that the salary of teachers would be increased in the fall, no later than at the beginning of the school year. The government is now engaged in calculations.
