Kyrgyzstani Victoria Terina took the 1st place at the championship of the Asian Equestrian Federation. The Equestrian Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic informed 24.kg news agency.
The finals of the first Asian Equestrian Federation Dressage Championship for riders up to 21 years ended in Doha (Qatar).
Kyrgyzstan was represented by two horsewomen — 15-year-old Victoria Terina and Ekaterina Akhtimirova, trainees of Kuluk Sports School for Children and Youth of the Olympic reserve.
Qualifying competitions were held in 2018 in eight countries — Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Qatar, Singapore, Kyrgyzstan, Thailand, Taipei. Only two best horsemen were selected from each country.
The final competition was held in two stages. All participants showed a high level of training, but Kyrgyzstani Victoria Terina was the best and took the 1st place. Ekaterina Akhtimirova took the 10th place.
