Sagynbek Abdyrakhmanov elected leader of alternative SDPK party

Sagynbek Abdyrakhmanov was elected the leader of alternative SDPK party, whose members do not support the ex-president of the country Almazbek Atambayev.

He headed SDPK without Atambayev movement. Sagynbek Abdyrakhmanov was elected unanimously.

«There are many worthy candidates for the place of the head of the party, the same Isa Omurkulov and Asylbek Jeenbekov, but they said that I deserve to be the leader,» Sagynbek Abdyrakhmanov told.

There were no other candidates. As the delegates stated at the forum, they did not recognize Almazabek Atambayev as the chairman of the political organization and accused him of consolidation of power and leaderism.

Thus, one more party of the Social Democrats with its own charter and leader appeared in Kyrgyzstan. Note, Isa Omurkulov, who convened this congress, did not attend it.
