Headquarters for development of public transport and infrastructure have been established in Bishkek. Press service of the Bishkek City Administration reported.
The powers of the headquarters include issues such as installation of new traffic lights, reconstruction of old ones, optimization of public transport routes, construction of bus stops, parking lots, road transport infrastructure, passenger transportation and much more.
Creation of the headquarters will ensure the full and clear implementation of Safe City project.
The headquarters will also be engaged in detection of accidentally dangerous sections of roads where it is necessary to install photo and video systems for recording of traffic violations and monitoring of the work of already introduced systems in order to improve the implementation of Safe City project.
The head of the headquarters is the Vice Mayor of Bishkek Azizbek Alymkulov.
