Kazakhstan explains queue at border by unwillingness to undergo inspection

Queue of vehicles at the state border of Kazakhstan with Kyrgyzstan was formed due to unwillingness of carriers to undergo inspection. Press service of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan reported the day before.

According to it, monitoring and, if necessary, inspection of vehicles to detect prohibited goods is carried out on the border. Since March 27, 2019, nine vehicles carrying goods from China and Turkey were inspected at Kara-Suu checkpoint at Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan border. Inaccurate information in the shipping documents was revealed.

«In connection with the inspection since March 27, at least 40 vehicles voluntarily returned to Kyrgyzstan to correct the shipping documents. A visual inspection of goods made in Kyrgyzstan is carried out, and there are no violations,» the message says.

The State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan informed that more than 220 heavy trucks had accumulated at Ak-Tilek-Avtodorozhniy checkpoint.
