Russian textbooks in mathematics will be adapted for primary school students in Kyrgyzstan. They are expected to be delivered to schools in the new academic year, the press service of the Ministry of Education reported.
The Ministry of Education of Kyrgyzstan and Prosveschenie Publishing House signed a memorandum of cooperation on book publishing issues. The parties agreed on the adaptation of educational and methodological complexes in a number of general education subjects and their translation into the languages of instruction in schools of Kyrgyzstan (Kyrgyz, Tajik, Uzbek) and cooperation in the field of digitalization of the educational process.
According to the Minister of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, Gulmira Kudaiberdieva, the joint work will begin with the adaptation of the textbooks in mathematics for primary schools.
«Work on adaptation will begin today, we plan that primary school students will get new textbooks in the 2019/20 school year. In addition, from the end of May — the beginning of June we will begin qualification upgrading courses for teachers of mathematics and head teachers of primary schools for work with these textbooks,» she said.
