«Kyrgyzstan needs a new type of industry — high-tech, compact and environmentally friendly,» President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov said during the 8th Interregional Kyrgyz-Russian conference.
According to him, Kyrgyzstan is ready to unite efforts to create and use new technologies and innovations in the field of green economy, energy conservation, renewable energy, bioengineering and nanotechnology. At the same time, in modern conditions, the importance of combining the potential and resources of the regions in the process of interregional cooperation becomes obvious.
«It is important to establish twin-city relations between cities, the basis of them should be a coordinated work between the governors. Maintaining direct contacts, the regions themselves choose partners. Establishment of direct contacts between agricultural producers and processing enterprises of Kyrgyzstan and Russia is the most important task. In addition to strengthening ties at the governmental and regional levels, it is necessary to maintain and develop direct dialogue between the business community. We are ready to support the wishes of the business community to simplify our procedures and improve the business climate,» stressed Sooronbai Jeenbekov.
The head of state noted that the development of cooperation between the regions in the field of tourism required special attention. Mountain, extreme, ethno-tourism are becoming more attractive for tourists from Russia. Regions of Russia are also of particular interest for Kyrgyz tourists because of their cultural and historical heritage.
