«We see a perspective in transfer of Russian enterprises to Kyrgyzstan with the possibility of export to third countries,» Zhyrgalbek Sagynbaev, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use, said during the 8th Kyrgyz-Russian interregional conference.
According to him, over the years of independence, the republic has lost its industrial potential due to the breaking of ties. But it is the level of industrial development that can be considered as an indicator of a country’s development. Therefore, it is now important for Kyrgyzstan to establish contacts.
«As a production worker, I understand the complexity of implementation of projects in industry, but I see a need. Development of cooperation is aimed at overcoming all the difficulties. Kyrgyzstan has GSP +, which gives the right to supply goods to Europe. There are China, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan next to us. This opens up an opportunity for development,» Zhyrgalbek Sagynbaev stressed.
