Preparations for Immortal Regiment march began in Bishkek. Coordinator of the campaign Zulfira Khaibullina told 24.kg news agency.
According to her, members of the public headquarters discussed the plan of organizational measures.
«We have already sent letters asking for assistance to the City Administration and the Presidential Administration,» she said.
Zulfira Khaibullina noted that the date, place and route of the march would remain unchanged.
«All the news about the preparation and conducting of the march can be found on the official page of the movement on Facebook. There are addresses where you can order a pillar with photos of soldiers and home front workers,» she said.
The Immortal Regiment march was first held in Kyrgyzstan in 2014 in Osh city. Bishkek joined the march in 2015. About 30,000-35,000 people participated in the campaign in 2017. In 2018, the Immortal Regiment march in Bishkek was headed by the President Sooronbai Jeenbekov. The head of state carried a portrait of his grandfather, Jeenbek Pirnazarov, who went missing during the Great Patriotic War.
