Due to ban on smoking in restaurants, losses of the budget of Kyrgyzstan may amount to 270 million soms. Director of the Association of Leading Restaurateurs and Hoteliers Evgeny Tyan stated at a press conference at 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the greatest consequences of smoking rooms ban will affect the restaurant business. Entrepreneurs will have to close equipped smoking areas and ask visitors to go outside to smoke.
Such a ban will result in losses from 10 to 70 percent of revenue for restaurateurs.
«We doubt that the ban will be observed. Accordingly, it carries high corruption risks,» Evgeny Tyan said.
