Bank accounts of defaulters of fines for violation of traffic rules will be blocked and vehicles — seized. Deputy head of the Main Traffic Safety Department Ymanaly Sarkulov told today at a round table discussion.
According to him, violators of traffic rules can pay a fine within 15 days with 50 percent discount.
«If they haven’t paid during this time, then they have time until 30 days, after which a penalty will be charged — 1 percent of the amount of the fine per day,» said Ymanaly Sarkulov.
He added that within 100 days the amount of penalty would reach 100 percent.
«If an offender still refuses to pay, the materials are sent to court. Bailiffs can seize a car or block bank accounts in order to recover fines and penalties,» Ymanaly Sarkulov said.
