Raids to detect illegal migrants are taking place in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). News.ykt.ru reports.
«Illegal Migrant» raids are aimed at preventing offenses by foreign citizens, violation of the rules for engaging in labor activities by entrepreneurs, detection of foreigners staying in Russia in violation of stay terms, working without permits.
At the first stage, 600 objects of stay of foreign citizens have been checked, 50 administrative offenses were revealed along with three signs of criminal offenses related to fictitious migration registration.
Decision on administrative expulsion in connection with illegal stay in the territory of Russia was made in respect of eight people.
