Kyrgyzstan takes 92nd place in World Happiness Report

Finland took the first place in the World Happiness Report, compiled by the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network.

According to the report of the organization, Finland scored the maximum number of points — 7.63. Norway is the 2nd, followed by Denmark, Iceland and Switzerland. Burundi (156th place) closes the list.

Kyrgyzstan took the 92nd line between Nigeria and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

When estimating the level of happiness, experts took into account such factors as per capita GDP, life expectancy, social support, freedom and corruption in terms of their influence on making important life decisions. Each of the factors was estimated based on a 10-point scale and an average score for each state was calculated.

March 20 is the International Day of Happiness.
