Head of Main Traffic Safety Department of Kyrgyzstan appointed

Azamat Israilov was appointed the head of the Main Traffic Safety Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the ministry reported.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Azamat Israilov was born on November 30, 1973 in Tyup district of Issyk-Kul region. He graduated from the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic with a degree in jurisprudence.

He has served in the internal affairs bodies since 1999. Azamat Israilov began his service in the police department of Issyk-Kul region.

Prior to the appointment, he was the head of the Traffic Police and Administrative Practice Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

During the service, he was awarded departmental medals.

The former head of the Main Traffic Safety Department, Kanat Dzhumagaziev, was appointed the head of the Bishkek Police Department in February.
