Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Chingiz Aidarbekov, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan, Karim Kokrekbaev, today.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the sides discussed organization of upcoming bilateral and high-level visits and meetings this year. They exchanged views on upcoming multilateral international events and forums.
However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic does not specify who will pay a high-level visit first — Sooronbai Jeenbekov to Astana or Nursultan Nazarbayev to Bishkek.
Special attention was paid to cooperation in the water and energy sectors, improvement of work of some checkpoints on Kyrgyzstan-Kazakhstan state border, as well as recognizing equivalence of the veterinary system of Kyrgyzstan.
