MP Iskhak Masaliev intends to send an official letter to the leaders of the factions of the parliamentary majority coalition in order they to decide the fate of SDPK. He told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, after the ex-president Almazbek Atambayev announced that SDPK party was in opposition to the authorities, the Social Democratic faction should withdraw from the majority coalition. The coalition itself must be reformatted.
He added that the new coalition could be formed from Respublika - Ata Jurt, Kyrgyzstan, Onuguu-Progress, Bir Bol and Ata Meken.
The day before, SDPK officially announced itself an opposition. A representative of the political organization, Kunduz Zholdubaeva, believes that this decision may entail negative consequences for the faction. But she stressed: the faction has lost contact with the central organs of the party.
