Fact of illegal import of dried fruit was revealed in Osh region of Kyrgyzstan. The State Customs Service reports.
A Mercedes-Benz 311 Sprinter vehicle was detained on Batken-Osh road. Some 160 boxes of raisins weighing 2,080 kilograms, six bags of peeled almonds weighing 252 kilograms were found in the vehicle. In addition, six bags of dye (flavoring food additive) of TAJCOLOR PINK trademark weighing 60 kilograms were also found.
«The total cost of the goods is estimated at 640,600 soms. They were illegally imported from a neighboring state. The collected materials were sent to the prosecutor’s office of Osh region,» the message says.
