An extremist wanted by Interpol was detained in Bishkek. Press service of the Main Department of Interior of the capital reported.
A 44-year-old native of Tajikistan was detained in Sverdlovsk district.
“The man was wanted for illegal recruitment of citizens into armed groups and organization of extremist activities. The detainee is an active supporter of banned international terrorist organizations. The man was placed in pretrial detention center,” the department said.
