Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev named projects that need to be implemented in the first place in 2019. He voiced his vision at an extended meeting with the heads of ministries and departments.
According to him, in the social sector, it is necessary to improve access to and quality of general education, bringing school education coverage to 98.8 percent; strengthen the primary health care system; to achieve construction of modern objects of physical culture and sports in each region.
In addition, Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev noted importance of completing implementation of Safe City component throughout the country. Development of regional economy based on «growth points» and optimal placement of productive forces, introduction of fiscalization of tax procedures and launch of state-run electronic services in the industrial mode and an increase in the number of services provided in electronic format to 80 are among the priority projects.
Connection of all state bodies to Tunduk system is planned for 2019, as well as the construction and expansion of drinking water supply systems in the villages of the country, covering at least 65 percent of the population.
According to the head of government, one of the important tasks is transformation of the state property management system through transition to a holding management system and introduction of a system of key performance indicators KPI (National Managing Company).
In 2019, such large enterprises as Kyrgyz Pochtasy, Kyrgyz Temir Zholu, Manas International Airport should be reformed with attraction of private investments for their modernization and improvement of the quality of services provided.
«In addition, it is necessary to speed up the capitalization of RSK Bank OJSC to expand support for export-import operations, as well as introduce a mechanism for financing regional development projects in the amount of 2 billion soms. Annual plans should be fulfilled in such a way in order we can implement 103 national investment projects for $ 15.7 billion,» Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev stressed.
