Members of the Committee for Rehabilitation of Politically Repressed will hold a kurultai. This was announced today at a civil forum «Causes and Lessons of Political Repressions 2016-2017.»
According to the ex-state secretary Dastan Sarygulov, delegates will discuss a regional development strategy.
Members of the committee support the policy of the President Sooronbai Jeenbekov and his intention to develop the regions.
Dastan Sarygulov believes that the country should not ask money for these purposes from foreign donors. It can find its own funds.
Date of the upcoming kurultai has not been set yet. Initiators note that it will be held this spring.
The forum participants also stressed that they supported the movement SDPK without Atambayev. But they were not going to join its ranks so far.
