Bekbolot Talgarbekov, who was convicted for attempt to forcibly seize power, was released from prison. His son Arstan Talgarbekov informed 24.kg news agency.
According to him, earlier Alamedin District Court made a decision on his release on parole. Bekbolot Talgarbekov was released from prison on March 7.
In May 2016, the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan opened a criminal case against members of the People’s Parliament.
Bekbolot Talgarbekov and Tolubai Kolubaev were sentenced to 14 years in prison with serving the sentence in a colony with reinforced regime, Marat Sultanov — to ten years, Toigonbek Kalmatov — to five years (suspended sentence), Alexander Gusev — to six years (suspended sentence).
