Issyk-Ata District Court of Chui region of Kyrgyzstan sentenced a 47-year-old man to 10 years in prison for attempt to rape his minor stepdaughter. Head of the Criminal and Civil Proceedings Department of the Prosecutor’s Office of Chui region, Nurlan Tagaev, informed 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the drunken man tried to rape the girl, but was caught by his wife in the act.
«At the beginning of the trial, the defendant partially pleaded guilty, but then refused his testimony. He stated that he was just standing in his underpants in front of the girl. The victim herself told during the investigation that her stepfather had come home drunk. When she wanted to put him to bed, he began to hold her and take off her clothes,» Nurlan Tagaev told.
