A number of companies traditionally support peasants and farmers by providing discounts of 0.4 som per liter in wholesale and retail sales of fuel and lubricants. The Association of Oil Traders of Kyrgyzstan reported.
During January-February 2019, at least 164,600 tons of petroleum products have been imported, including 88,900 tons of gasoline and 75,600 tons of diesel fuel. At the same time, on January 15, 2019, a cooperation agreement was signed between the association and the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the forecast of the Ministry of Agriculture, the need for fuel and lubricants for spring field work in 2019 will amount to 115,700 tons, at least 90,600 tons of which is diesel fuel and 25,100 tons — gasoline.
«Oil traders fully cover the republic’s need for fuel and lubricants. We are ready to fulfill our obligations to provide the farmers with the necessary amount of oil products in a timely manner and in full,» the Association stressed.
