Illegal import of a large batch of grapes was revealed in Batken region of Kyrgyzstan. The State Customs Service reported.
A DАF truck was reportedly detained on Leilek-Batken highway near Tort-Kul water reservoir. At least 1,490 boxes of fresh grapes with a total weight of 10 tons and 132 kilograms were found during an inspection of truck’s cargo body.
«The goods were illegally imported from a neighboring state. The materials on the case were sent to the prosecutor’s office of Batken region,» the State Customs Service reported.
