Kyrgyzstan launches pilot project on electronic registration of legal entities

A pilot project on registration of legal entities in electronic form will be implemented in Bishkek and Chui region from March 1, 2019 to January 1, 2020. A corresponding decree was signed by the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev.

It is noted that the project will be implemented by the Ministry of Justice, the State Communications Committee, the Social Fund, the State Tax Service and the National Statistical Committee. Results of the project will be summarized on January 1, 2020. If the result is positive, the system will be launched all over the country.

At the same time, the Ministry of Justice was charged with taking all the necessary organizational, technical and other measures related to the pilot project.

Earlier, the Ministry of Justice previously reported some details of the project. Only holders of a new biometric passport of 2017 sample will be able to register companies via the Internet. This is due to the fact that only this document contains a reinforced qualified electronic signature defined by law. This allows an applicant to authenticate in the information system of the Ministry of Justice through a reader (smart card).
