President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov received the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Konstantin Chuichenko. The Information Policy Department of the Presidential Administration reported.
Delegation of the Russian Federation arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the 21st meeting of the Kyrgyz-Russian Intergovernmental Commission.
«Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation has reached a qualitatively new level of strategic partnership and alliance. In recent years, a high level of trust-based relations has been established between Kyrgyzstan and Russia. This is confirmed by the state visit of Vladimir Putin to Kyrgyzstan, scheduled for March of this year,» Sooronbai Jeenbekov noted.
The President expressed confidence that clear plans for further fruitful cooperation within the framework of the work of the intergovernmental commission would be outlined.
«Not only allied but also fraternal relations have developed between our countries and peoples. We will do everything in order the upcoming visit of the Russian president to have a real direction and substantial documents that will predetermine success of cooperation and strengthen brotherhood between nations to be signed,» stressed Konstantin Chuichenko.
Participants of the meeting discussed preparation for the upcoming visit of Vladimir Putin to Kyrgyzstan, further development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, including in the framework of EEU, CIS, CSTO and SCO.
