Commodity turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine fell sharply and amounted to $ 32.4 million in 2019. The Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kyrgyz Republic Valery Zhovtenko told journalists.
According to him, this is due to a ban on the transit of goods from Ukraine through Russia.
According to the diplomat, Ukraine is interested in relations with Kyrgyzstan. The countries signed 40 contracts. Negotiations on an agreement in the field of education are underway.
Valery Zhovtenko added that the Kyrgyz Republic has always been a friendly state and a good partner for Ukraine.
