State Information Technology and Communications Committee told 24.kg news agency when cameras installed within the 2nd stage of Safe City project would start working.
Cameras located at the intersection of Bokonbaev Street and Manas Avenue, Chui and Manas Avenues, Chui Avenue and Pavlov Street, Zhibek Zholu and Manas Avenues, M. Gandhi and Botaliev Streets, Zhibek Zholu Avenue and Kurmandjan Datka Street, Akhunbaev and Baytik Baatyr Streets, Chui Avenue and Abdrakhmanov Street, Baytik Baatyr and Gorky Streets will start working in Bishkek on March 12. Traffic violations will be also recorded under the overpass on Shabdan Baatyr and Ibraimov Streets.
Cameras will also be installed along Bishkek-Osh highway. From March 12, recording will begin on 154.3 km, from March 13 — on 160 km.
Cameras installed on Bishkek-Chaldovar highway, 61.6 kilometer, in Kara-Balta city will start working from March 12, in Alekseevka village — from March 13, in the village of Voznesenovka — from March 14, in the village of Panfilovka — from March 15.
Cameras along Bishkek-Torugart highway in Kirgshelk village (near Gazprom filling station) will be launched from March 12, in Luxemburg village (near Bishkek Petroleum filling station) — from March 13, at the intersection of Lenin and Zapadnaya Streets — from March 14, in Kant (opposite Gazprom filing station) — from March 15, in Krasnaya Rechka — from March 16.
The Bishkek City Administration promised to complete preparations for the second phase of the project by March 6.
