Sapat sees some interest in reporting poor conditions at lyceum

Educational institution Sapat (former Sebat — note of 24.kg news agency) will check complaints against teachers and poor conditions, indicated on Twitter social networking site. The Deputy General Director of Sapat Amirbek Sultanmuratov told 24.kg news agency.

According to him, none of the graduates had previously complained about the living and studying conditions at the lyceum.

«We see the interest of certain people in these messages. After the hashtags appeared on the network, we began to check the information. Prior to this, none of the students and their parents complained about anything. We work closely with parents because they pay money for the contract. Of course, if they had come to us with certain complaints, the conditions would be changed. If we knew about the facts of unlawful treatment on the part of teachers or educators, they, naturally, would be fired,» Amirbek Sultanmuratov said.

He noted that people, who have graduated from the educational institution 5-10 years ago, posted on the social networking website. These are mainly people, who studied at the lyceum for one or two years, but have not graduated from it.

Hashtag #metoosebat appeared on Twitter. Users told about terrible conditions during their staudy at the lyceum. In particular, according to them, the lyceum students were forced to wash the toilets and stay outside in the middle of the night.
